Are you there?

Going, going, gone. I will be just that if I don't start hearing from a lot of people. I hope to interact with some folks that have similiar interests, etc. I love hearing about people's family and what their varied interests are. Do you have animals? Do you live in the country or the city? I love dogs and cows. I live in the city, but have country property. I love music and being with our sweet grandson. Tell me about yourself ... whoever you might be.

Happy Thanksgiving to all ...

We had great Thanksgiving weather to blow into North Texas today. It was 84 degrees two days ago, but yes, sleet visited us today on Thanksgiving! It was delightful! Maybe, just maybe, we have seasonal temperatures that will linger.

We celebrated Thanksgiving together with different family members and friends. It was the first Thanksgiving after losing my Mother which tugged at my heart some today, but realizing how much we have to be grateful for surely pulled me up. It's so special today because it's our little grandson's first Thanksgiving! He had an adorable outfit on for Thanksgiving! It had a cute little turkey on it, and a couple of times, I think it "gobbled." :-) We all had fun being together, and as so many others, we enjoyed good food and fellowship.

Wow, it looks like people are actually camping out in front of stores to begin their Christmas shopping in the morning! So the retail "ho ho ho" begins! :-)

Would love to hear from different ones, and hope all had a great Thanksgiving!

Our sweet doggies

Like I promised, here are our two Jack Russell Terriers; Jackie and Daphne.

Hi to everyone ...

I'm just beginning my blog site, and this is my first post. I am a first-time grandma, and oh my, it's the most wonderful experience ever! The last nine months getting to be with our grandson often has been awesome! Any grandmas out there that would enjoy sharing? What a question with an obvious answer?!

My husband and I have been married for thirty-one years. He is an Engineer and works with a lot of wireless applications. We have lived in the same area (between two houses) for nearly thirty years, and have attended the same church forever. You might say we have "tenure." :-)

We have two Jack Russell Terriers, and they are adorable. (Maybe I can post a picture of them sometime soon ...) They are five years old, and sisters. They have a lot of energy, but then after their first playful runs, they get all cozy and want to curl up next to us. I like them being lapdogs, also.

Somebody say "hi." Looking forward to my first post having a reply!
